Code Blue Achieves ETL Certification To UL 2017 Standard

Holland, MI – July 27, 2011 -- Code Blue Corporation (www.codeblue.com), a leading supplier of emergency communication systems, has been approved to apply the ETL mark for certification to the UL 2017 Standard for its low and high voltage products.

UL has developed more than 1,000 Standards for Safety. These are essential to public safety and confidence, reducing costs, improving quality, and marketing products and services. Millions of products and their components are tested to UL's rigorous safety standards with the result that consumers live in a safer environment than they would have otherwise.

“Meeting this standard raises the bar for products offered in our industry,” stated Mick Doran, Product Development Manager for Code Blue. “The UL 2017 Standard covers emergency signaling devices, a more demanding standard and one that positions us well as we apply integrated system solutions using our IP communication devices and our Blue Alert Mass Notification software supported by ToolVox, our new communication manager.”

Certified products will bear the Intertek (www.intertek.com) ETL Listed Mark. The ETL Listed Mark is proof of product compliance to North American safety standards. Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s) in 50 states and Canada and retailers accept the ETL Listed Mark as proof of product safety.
