Code Blue Announces Transition To New Design Faceplate Light Assembly

The new high intensity-highly efficient single bulb element LED replaces the former nine element LED assembly and provides over 230 percent increase in intensity (brightness 1.9 cd/m^2 to 4.4 cd/m^2). Amperage draw of the new design @ ~12vDC is 28% less than the nine element design and @ 24vAC both designs draw ~40mA. Expected life is 100,000 hours, further reducing product maintenance costs.

The new diffused lighting design provides brighter illumination of the general faceplate area-and specifically the critical bezel and emergency button location.

This new component is now in production and supplied on all Code Blue units having the lighted faceplate.
